All "ZERO" readings with the Resmed software???

Post by Jayjonbeach » Wed Dec 05, 2012 12:18 am

So I have been using the S9 for about 2 years now (IIRC?) but about 6 months ago I noticed that when I took the memory card out and plugged it into the computer to see how things were going, there was basically NO info! Everything was just zero everywhere, and I no I dont sleep THAT good!

So I think I seen in the past people with this issue, but couldn't find the threads about it. Its possible its my fault, by maybe deleting the wrong files off the memory card in the past? If its not that, then I am not sure what to think other than there is a fault with the machine itself or the card itself (I think not likely the actual card), but I am curious if my machine is doing its job, and now have no real way to see what is going on.

TIA for any help

It might not be your problem, but unplug the S9 from electrical power for a few minutes. Sometimes they need a reboot.

Thanks I did indeed try this, but will do it again what the heck.

I forgot to ask, maybe someone can confirm what files should be on the card, I doubt I deleted any of the important files as I am usually very careful about that.

What I have are:

DATALOG (this is the folder with all sleep files, and the ones I have deleted in the past with no issues)
identification.crc
STR.crc
Journal.dat (hidden)
STR.edf
identification.tgt

All in that order.

Something else to note, the machine accepts the card just fine, and apparently Resmed is VERY picky about the card, so this leads me to believe the card is okay, and would seem to point to either the software itself or the machine itself.

For the software, I can view all the old info stored, with normal AHI settings etc but anything new comes up as 0 everywhere

What does the LCD screen show for data from last night?
Have you gone into the clinical menu to confirm that Sleep Quality is still set to "On"?
Have you confirmed the zero data with SleepyHead software....on the off chance it is ResScan that is broken?
If rebooting doesn't help...maybe try a new SD card???
