AAAHhh - Thread Hijack!
I've mentioned it in other threads, but Hydrocide and Barbicide are available at any beauty supply shop if you're traveling, or live somewhere where you can't get ORM-D shipments. Ounce-for ounce, they're more expensive than Control III (4oz/gal vs 1oz/gal), but are dyed to match a little color-coded mixing guide on the funky little brand-named jars you see at the barber's shop.
FWIW, Barbicide also contains Sodium Nitrate to keep scissors from rusting. I have no idea what it does to silicone.
Like Chunky said, be careful when you're diluting the concentrate. Keep it with the household cleaners away from kids, pets, morons, and oxymorons such as bleach stains. Learned that last bit the hard way
If you're really bored (or just want to avoid folding the laundry), here are the MSDSs:

When in doubt, open the case. Remember: If you can't open it, you don't own it!

Sorry, but "I" don't want to have to "clean" medical supplies before I use them.BlackSpinner wrote:There is wonderful invention called soap and hot water that does amazing things. You just can never tell what procedures were followed (if any) to keep everything sanitized.
"I" EXPECT them to already be in that condition & NEVER touched by human hands before "I" open the bag.

Personally I wash everything before use. Not so much for the "human hands" as for all the nasty toxic chemicals used to manufacture them and make them so called sterile. Also remember they are not in a sealed sterile environment during all of their manufacturing. People breathe and the factories in the far east are cesspools of semi slave labour so to make "sterile" they use some pretty nasty stuff that you really don't want near your body.StuUnderPressure wrote: Sorry, but "I" don't want to have to "clean" medical supplies before I use them.
