Flow Limitation Question

Some machines in CPAP mode don't show FL b/c they can't do anything remedial about it. Those in APAP mode (AutoCPAPs) can raise the pressure which overcomes the FL, similarly to treating obstructive apneas.

That FL graph looks really good. Mine looks more like kaiasgram's (not as bad as avi123's). On good parts of the night, my FL is 0 spiking to 0.15 or so every 5-10 minutes, on bad parts it is spiking above 0.15 every minute and above 0.3 every few minutes.

When looking for the flattened tops in ResScan, do I look at the Flow Limitation graph?

You can look at two things. You can look at the Flow Limitation graph, which is the machine scoring how flat your tops are (how much the breathing waveform looks like flow restricted breathing). Or you can look at the Flow Rate graph yourself, and try to evaluate the waveform manually based on examples posted of good/bad breathing (which I haven't really found yet!). Or maybe just look at your breathing at different times during the night for a comparison.

I've read several of these threads, and I'm glad to see I'm not the only one with questions

I've been on CPAP therapy for a little over a month and feel that I have my AHI well in check. I certainly feel better than prior to the getting my CPAP, but still tired during the day.

I'm sorry for the dumb question, but is the idea that titration would find the balance between lowest flow limitation without increasing CAs? Should I be looking for improvement based on my data? Scrolling through my flow rate I see a lot of what you see in the attached image. They look like flow limitations to me, but aren't represented on the limitation graph. A head scratcher for sure, I see my Dr in about a month and I'm not really sure how to jump in to the conversation.
