I purchased and downloaded Fisher & Paykel's InfoSmart software, set it all up with no problem, and generated a detailed (and wonderful!) report for the first 8 days of use. That was a week ago. I just uploaded data from the SmartStick tonight and every time I try to generate a report, the app either hangs in a loop and does nothing except display "Report loading, please wait..." (for 30 minutes until it logs me out due to inactivity), or gives me an error saying "Error creating report."
I've already cleared and reset the SmartStick. I've rebooted my computer. I triple-checked that I was following the proper procedure to view/save/print the report. I've tried saving, printing, viewing, all to no avail. I can't figure out how it worked just fine a week ago and now it doesn't.
I'm running Windows 7, though that shouldn't matter since it worked fine a week ago. Grr...
Any InfoSmart users -- any suggestions? Anyone run into this before?
I'm thinking about uninstalling the whole mess and starting over again.

Re: Help generating F&P InfoSmart reports
I wound up uninstalling the software, then reinstalling from the CD. Now works again. Yay! I'm guessing some file on my system got corrupted somehow. I'm just happy that it works and I could see what happened during the night when I had a high AHI night (*with* auto CPAP!).

Re: Help generating F&P InfoSmart reports
OK, I'll try to walk thru all the steps I use to get my report. Like you, I have the ICON & had to purchase my software. It is difficult (but not impossible) to use. Here goes:
1. Install Software (give yourself a password after this completes)
2. Insert SmartStick with data
3. Open InfoSmart
4. Type password, then enter
5. Set yourself up as patient (I'm sorry, I don't remember how I did this, just hunt around under the tab "PATIENTS" and you should find this)
6. Select patient (yourself)
7. Go to 'Get Patient Reports'
8. Under 'Summary Data: select 'custom' then start date & end date of the report
9. Go to 'Get Connected"
10. Upload (from box that shows the ICON, bottom of box, left side)
11. Then Select 'Quick Report View"
After these steps, you should have a report ready, tell it to open and you should have the report.
Before you close, go to upper left corner, then 'file save as' & put your data anywhere you want to save it. I currently have mine saved on my InfoStick, so that I can take reports to dr. After I go to dr with that data, I will permantly save to my pc, then remove data from my InfoStick to allow for more data accumulation. I don't think my dr has this software, so I'm taking mine with me when I go, as well as printed reports. Unless you know if your dr has software, I would suggest you do the same.

Re: Help generating F&P InfoSmart reports
I found InfoSmart to be quite finicky, I couldn't get it to run at all on Windows 7. It installs SWL lite as I recall and is really designed for a server/client environment, not a desktop PC.
It also has some sort of 'privacy feature' that will only pull 7-8 days of data off the stick so you have to keep up or loose the data. I have since switch to SleepyHead for Mac, it gives me all the same data and better reports that I can zoom in on all while not running a 'server' application in the background 24x7. It also pulls all data on the stick, I was able to pull 2-3 months of data once I got it installed. JediMark has been back at it so look for an updated Windows build that supports the Icon.

Re: Help generating F&P InfoSmart reports
This sounds heavenly. InfoSmart is expensive and gives limited data. I am glad to get what data I am getting, since it is helping me to try to manage my mouthbreating by monitoring my leaks. I will be grateful for anything that would help with Icon data. If I had found this forum a few weeks earlier, I never would have gotten the Icon. I was unaware of the data capability, and thought the clock looked 'neat'. How dumb I am.KrisasMan wrote: JediMark has been back at it so look for an updated Windows build that supports the Icon.
