Re: Partners sinus problem.
Thanks. I had a very similar problem when we moved once before from living by the sea to living in a valley. We've left the heat off the last couple of nights. Will just see how it goes. It's more important that he uses his CPAP than worry about my sinuses but I will have to go back to the Doctors if it carries on.

Re: Partners sinus problem.
You are not alone. I am also experiencing sinus problems as a result of my spouse's CPAP machine. My husband began using the cpap about 2 months. I have had a continuous problem with sinus, started about 2 weeks after he started using the cpap. My sinus problem is accompanied with a nagging cough. I notice that the cough increased during the night. After weeks of having this nagging cough not go away, may husband and I decided to test if the cpap was the cause. We slept in separate rooms for two nights, my cough decreased immediately, not only during the night but the nagging daytime cough decreased also. We returned to sleep in the same room and immediately by cough returned during the night, so much so I had to take cough suppressant and move to the next room. We are confident the cpap is the cause of my sinus problems. Now I wish someone will explain why the cpap causes these problems. My husband loves this machine and it has helped his sleep problems, however we would love to sleep in the same room. BTW, I live in southeastern, USA and it is spring here.
