Made it thru the first night!

Post by Foxtail » Wed Nov 14, 2012 5:41 am

First night, only knocked the head set off once. Had a minor problem with my lips leaking air a few times. I will find some software to see how I really did. Good night sleep and feel refreshed! Only 30 more years to go.

Yay, congratulations! I hope you continue to do well from now on. Do not be discouraged if some nights don't go as well. That happens sometimes, not to everyone though. At least you know how it feels to get some good rest
I'm still working on that. My mask seems to leap off my face whenever it wants to during the night. It's not me taking it off cuz I don't remember doing that.

Keep us posted, I'm cheering you on! A positive attitude goes a long way when you have SA. (Hey, that rhymed) Kat

Hi Foxtail,

Good post and great attitude! My CPAP adventure started almost a year ago and I was shooting for 33 years, so I could go out as a centenarian! Your attitude will serve you well in the inevitable challenges you will face.

Sleep well!

Great! You will get used to the mask and won't knock it off at night. Glad to hear that you feel refreshed! That is one sign, and probably the most important, that indicates the therapy is working.

The begining is always the hardest...its just not natrual.
Stick with it and if your like most that use cpap therapy it will be second nature before long.
Once in the business...now just trying to support and educate
