Not too worried about it since the cards won the division by a landslide 2 years in a row. I think the cubs think it's the world series when they play the cards since it's the closest they'll come to tasting the fall classic (how long since they won one?) Can't remember the exact amount of years. Can you remember for me, or just repeat after me...

Yeah, yeah, yeah! I know.

I've been dreaming since I was 6 years old. That's 51 years now. But this last weekend was nice. I did get a better night's sleep, even with the Headrest, on Sunday night.

Ya never k-now do ya? It could happen, someday.

C Y'all weekend after this.

It is true that I sleep better when my teams win. Kinda sad. I remember when my Rams lost to the stinking patriots in the Super Bowl a few years ago. I could not sleep right for a week. It made me sick. Should not let things like that upset us.

Gotta support your team, though.

I actually do not have a problem with the cubs except for when they play us. I like going to Wrigley when I get the chance no matter who the small bears are playing. Great atmosphere. I hope our new stadium will be as good as our old one. I'll miss good ol busch stadium where I saw my first game as a little kid on bat night. Joe Torre hit a grand slam that rocked the house. Great memory.

At 65 with diabetes and taking a beta blocker (atenolol) an recently getting off Prozac, I can agonize thinking of this topic.

But I was young and virile at one time and now rock and sing "precious memories"

I went from a mile runner to a 40 yd dash type and my times are not much better than the football players- sometimes I cannot even finish the dash.

I am glad I have outgrown all that foolishness
Precious memories, how they linger.
