Curing Overlapping Data in SH

Post by Starlette » Tue Oct 30, 2012 7:56 pm

There was a thread by RetiredMechEngr on Saturday 9/29/2012 called, "Very First Post - Just tired and Have Started CPAP".
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=82630&p=749549&hili ... te#p749508

The main question he was asking was:
Would appreciate any help on (free) software for both of the following Respironics System One machines:
1. REMstar Pro C-Flex+; 460P Series (used from 7/13 to next Tues.)
2. REMstar Auto A-Flex; 560P Series (from Tues. on, from new prescription)

Also, can I just move the SD card from the old to the new machine and continue to collect data? Or, do I need to use the new (empty) card in the new machine?

For all those Newbies out there, I thought this would be great info for you. There are so many of you at this time which is a great thing I'm letting you know how I resolved the overlapping data in SleepyHead today. I have the following two machines:
System One RemStar Auto with A-Flex (550P) 1/9/2012 - Present
Philips Respironics System One RemStar Pro with C-Flex+ (450P) 10/19/2010 12/16/2011

I saw I had overlapping data in SH and could not figure out where the overlap was for both CPAP and Auto. Each time I booted up SH, it would ask me three times about overlapping data. Drove me nuts!!! Since that post, I never forgot about it, and kept mulling this issue in my mind. So FINALLY today, I resolved the issue. This is what I did:

Deleted all the data from SH both CPAP and Auto
Inserted SD card for CPAP into computer. From the start button on my laptop, I clicked on the tab that said "Computer".
Looked for my SD card (click)
Looked for the "P" file (click)
Looking at the serial#, there was the file for my Auto. I deleted that file.
Accessed SH - and downloaded SD card for CPAP.
Then inserted SD card for Auto.
Working beautifully

The Auto file that I deleted from the CPAP sd card somehow deleted 23 days of CPAP data. I'm OK with that. You'll see what I mean from what I copied from SH on the Statistics tab on the machine info listed above. While observing the Auto data from the Statistics tab, I discovered I had 10 days that had CPAP data that had overlapped with the Auto data. Issue resolved. At least I resolved the overlapping data.

NOTE: Please let me know if what I typed is incorrect or confusing.
