Re: SleepyHead Series 60 Patch Avail
to go to the right area to replace the sleepyhead file, you may have to show hidden files.
1. open any folder on your computer
2. click organize
3. click folder and search options
4. click view
then checkmark to show all hidden files, folder and drives
also uncheck hide protected operating files.
this is for w7. when done you can hide and protect the files again.
you may have to do this to find encore, sleepyhead and SPO2 files also if looking for them sometimes.

Is the qute Sleepyhead icon, The sheep with CPAP mask, included in the current version of the installer and used in your desktop shortcuts?
If not, you can down load it here: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/56364909/Sleep ... b-v3.0.ico

Rightclick your Sleepyhead shortcut and choose Propertys, in the Shortcut tab choose Change icon and point to the downloaded file, which you can put in your Sleepyhead folder

After I changed out my SH file and installed the new one I now have V0.9.2-3 (beta), also installed the icon and everything seems to be working OK.

Re: SleepyHead Series 60 Patch Avail
I don't believe that it is the case that the 60 Series behaves differently in different modes. The 461 that I have (firmware 3.02), while labeled as the "same" model name as my 451, actually behaves as an AutoIQ (whatever model number it is) instead of being restricted to only plain CPAP mode. What I am curious about is how the AutoIQ appears in its modes in SleepyHead. Personally, I suspect that flow limitations are not being logged in CPAP-Check mode at all, only in the time-limited auto.

Re: SleepyHead Series 60 Patch Avail
I downloaded my PR S1 data from last few nights using the newly patched SH. I need to take some time to compare with Encore more closely but from a quick glance it was spot on.
My dual leak lines returned. They have been AWOL since last spring.
This week I will get the S9 VPAP out and use it so that I can change the time next weekend and see if double sessions return.
Also will check another possible little calculation bug.
EDIT: 11/19/2012..... PR S1 60 series BIPAP users...patched SleepyHead is incomplete and not accurate. Right now you will still have to rely on Encore software.
The patch is only accurate for 60 series cpap/apap machines...models 460 and 560....not functioning properly for 660 or 760 models.
50 series models..won't hurt or help because there wasn't a problem to start with unless you wanted the dual leak line and didn't have it with the unpatched SH version.

I've also installed the patch even though I don't have the 60 series, it has seemed to have resolved some of my zeo data import failures.

I like the fact you can import Zeo and Oximetry data into Sleepyhead. That coupled with the data from the CPAP machine gives you a pretty comprehensive look at what is going on during sleep.

Re: SleepyHead Series 60 Patch Avail
Can someone give some easy steps(and I mean "easy"!) to install new patch. I'm completely lost! Thanks.

Give me a little bit of time. I will do the steps with pictures. I will edit this post here to do it but it will take me a bit to get the screen shots and things composed.DoriC wrote:Can someone give some easy steps(and I mean "easy"!) to install new patch. I'm completely lost!
Download the zipped patch file from link here.
https://s3.amazonaws.com/thefreemanclan ... pyHead.zip
Unzip that folder. You will get another folder pop up. The file that you will want to copy is inside that folder...so open the folder and note the file...minimize the box so you have it handy to open when ready for it.
I am using Win 7....Vista should be similar.
Go to start menu/All programs/SleepyHead...
Click on SleepyHead to expand it. You will see SleepyHead again listed as well as the Uninstall line.
You will ignore the Uninstall line and
Right click mouse on the first SleepyHead line...from the menu that pops up
click on "Open file location"
This will take you into the SleepyHead folder where all the guts are.
See the file I have red arrow next to? This is the current SleepyHead application file. This file is the file that starts the application. This is the file that will be replaced by the patch file. Yours will have an older date because this image is after the patch was installed.

I just deleted that file and went to that patch file and copied it and pasted it in that folder where the old file was removed. I suppose you could also click and drag it to that location.
Once you have that new patch file in with the rest of all the other files...close things and open SleepyHead normally.
It may give you that "do you want to warning thing"...I always remove the check mark so I don't have to be reminded of that every time I open SH...let it open and do its thing. If it wants to update and fails...go back and do the right click open SH with the "run as administrator" command line. I have SH installed already with those privileges so I didn't get a failed update.
If you have XP...the path may be a little different but you can also go to MyComputer....C drive and navigate to the same path that you see in path line on my screen shot above. Several ways to get there.

Re: SleepyHead Series 60 Patch Avail
I copied the old sleepy head file and then went to my documents and pasted it there just in case something went wrong I could reinstall it. If everything checks out then I'll delete it. After doing that I then deleted the sleepy head file in the folder and pasted the new sleepy head file in.

I DID IT!! Thanks a million Pugsy! Mike is already sleeeping so I have to wait and see how it imports tomorrow morning. I'll be so happy if it does away with those multiple sessions! I hope there's no problem with DST next week?
