I tried the simple cushion last night and was able to sleep through the night. The simple cushion was better for me than the direct seal. I'm still on the fence with this mask, but maybe I will like it better after I have used it for awhile.

I'm sorry to be the negative one here, but I do NOT like the CL2 at all. I think the simple cushion will work if you use the panythose trick, but I don't need new marks on my face that the folds in the pantyhose can cause when I can use the Aura out of the box with no problem and no marks. Plus, I feel like a masked bandit when I use the pantyhose leg around my face. Bad enough looking so "beautiful" with a cpap mask on, but every added "accessory" doesn't help, either. If it was a must and I had no choice, then I'd do it.
As far as the nasal pillows and the CL2, I found the bottom of it rested on my upper lip and I could feel coldness from the air passing through it on my upper lip area, too. I also don't feel, personally, that they seal as well for me as the pillows that come with the Aura, although they are very soft, too.
The headgear is comfortable, but the elbow totally ruins it. I even used the hose from my Activa to try to make it better, but unless you lay flat on the bed with no pillow, I can't see it working for me. And I do tether the hose up and behind my bed.
These are my personal opinions and I've read a lot of positive reviews on this mask. It's just not for me. I am thinking about getting rid of it, so those interested in trying it for yourself can PM me and we'll talk. It has been used for less than one hour and is in brand new condition. I guess being an avid Aura/Headrest user/lover has ruined me for most, if not all, other masks. Why fix what's not broken?

Does anyone know if it would be possible to remove the hard elbow on top of the CL2 and then connect the Activa or Mirage short hose at the point where the elbow came off? Would that address any of the problems some of you have with it?
Is there another mask other than the Breeze that has similar headgear (over the top rather than over the cheeks to back of head) that uses a cushion rather than nasal pillows that would be good for side sleepers?

I have only been on APAP for one week and am using the CL2. I started with the pillows, size M, for the first 5 nights. I found that I had a lot of leakage any time I changed positions (I am a stomach/side sleeper). I also noticed that after the first few days the pillows were starting to irritate my nares. So on Friday night I switched to the comfort cushion. That night was great! I had less leakage and no irritation. It was the first night that I was able to tolerate the machine for the whole night, only waking up twice to adjust the headgear. But Saturday and Sunday nights did not go well. I had lots of leakage and just couldn't get comfortable. I think that tonight I will go back to the pillows.
One question I have for other CL2 users is this - does anyone use a size small pillows? I purchased medium and large pillows because it seems like those are most common. I'm not a petite person (5'9") and my nose is pretty average size. Also, it looks like switching to a larger size is a common suggestion to stop leaks. But with the size medium pillows, I feel like they are already too big. The holes in the soft plastic inside the pillows that makes contact with your nose seem like they are almost bigger than my nostrils, which makes me feel like the chance for leakage is greater. I'm going to experiment tonight with the medium and large (I haven't tried the large pillows yet), but I'm wondering if there any size small users here, or others who've had trouble with leakage with this interface, who can offer suggestions.
Final note - I'm not opposed to trying a different interface a few months from now, but my insurance doesn't cover any xPAP equipment and money's very tight. So I really need to make the ComfortLite 2 work for me!

CL2
I'm an old male with a small head (6 7/8). I recently re-started CPAP after
quitting for 4 years. The only other mask I have is a 2001 Adam Circuit.
As far as the CL2 (with pillows) is concerned, I am getting along with it very well. For me it's good points are:
1) It's very quiet.
2) I LIKE the elbow on top much better than an over-the-head hose.
3) It's light-weight.
3) The adjustments are well thought out and easy to use in the dark.
The head pieces DID get a bit stretched out after the first 5 nights. So I re-tightened them. Furthermore, my nose angle was wrong for the pillow engagement, so I bent the steel bar to correct the nose problem.
btw - Did I mention it's quiet and light-weight?
Maybe if I had an Aura instead of an old Adam Circuit to compare it to, I
wouldn't like it as well as I do....This is night #6..zzzzzzz......

You brought up some very good points! It is VERY quiet and lightweight (or did I misunderstand you? ) ! Thanks for the reminder - it does get stretched out - so readjustments should be considered.
Just a ?:
Why do you like the elbow? (maybe I'm missing something!)
Thanks! Great comments!
