Question about cleaning your mask with Baking Soda

Maybe I just have a down to earth CPAP Doc but he told me a lot of the sterilization stuff out there is snake oil. I have actually found that "Dawn" dish soap works the best. Great degreaser, and they use it to save baby birds and animals so it has to be gentle. I tried a lot of stuff, but the best solution as usual was the simplest and right under my nose.
