Good job on the weight loss and welcome back!
I to am not overweight but suffer from some form of OA or UARS and thus require an xpap for optimal sleep and physical ability (wakefulness, ect... during the day).
Even though I have lost 30lbs since going low-carb back in February - I to am still in need of the xpap by knowing the few naps I've mistakenly taken without it, I feel like crap. Not to mention the recent night without xpap for another in-home sleep study, it took me nearly 2 weeks to feel normal again and that following morning of being without xpap, I felt like crap.
So I guess what I am saying is don't sweat it that the weight-loss hasn't cured your apnea but also be happy that losing the weight is also helpful to your well being in many ways as is the continuance of xpap.
I'm back... lost weight still need cpap, got a new Resmed s9
