Thanks, jen. I think the lower straps may be too tight. I'll loosen tonight.

The reason your DME is probably giving you the runaround is that they would have to exchange your SW for another SW, not a totally different mask and they probably don't want to do that.
You are correct. I called my DME. The supervisor called back and Sleepweaver will only exchange for another Sleepweaver mask.

The DME only sold 3 or 4 Sleepweavers last year so there is low demand for Sleepweaver masks at this DME. That is why they only carry the Advance.

I took the opportunity to request that they carry the Aloha mask. He'll look into it.

Next cpap support meeting is show and tell.
I'm planning to bring my leopard élan (with my custom elbow support), and my pink Advance,
hopefully with the nose hole reduced (thanks to Mon, for the lab rat hint).

I just used the new Elan last night and loved it. I was able to order a small mask. I had tried the older ones but they always leaked for me. I have a narrow face and small bridge of my nose and every other nasal mask I have ever tried is painful on my nose. I normally wear the Swift LT which I like but get tired of the nasal pillow. Plus you can get a refund if the mask doesn't work for you, you have nothing to loose

I have the Advance and it leaks like crazy (I have a small nose/face), but I LOVE the quietness of it. Does anyone know if the Elan is just as quiet? It looks like it has the standard type air output tube that I find makes me sound like Darth Vader.

I have been a happy user of the Advance for some time and was excited to receive my latest replacement. Unfortunately, the latest revision where the inner black zephyr seal is now stitched at the top doesn't work for me at all. It leaks and air blows in my eyes all night. I'm going to try the Elan and see how that works. I am a stomach sleeper and the advance was the only mask I have tried that worked well for me. I'm so disappointed in this update!

I have also worn the Advance for a few years, and agree it is the best, most comfortable mask ever. The last one I purchased 2 weeks ago doesn't fit. The new design just doesn't fit my face and leaks constantly. I am sending it back today. I also have an Elan, which is ok, but nowhere near the Advance in comfort for me. I am terribly disappointed I am not able to get the old style Advance any longer. Not sure what bI'm going to do nopw. I own several masks of different manufacture, and hate them all...
