Late to comment as I'm slowly going back 9 pages of posts I've missed by not having the time to spend on the board in the past weeks BUT what you describe sounds ditto to my situation. Likely high events along with snoring associated with REM sleep and otherwise clean reports.
For the record, I'm still fighting with the DME & Insurance to find out if I'm going to get coverage but can tell you with the help of a few on this board and selective craigslist shopping, ect... and a cooperative DME finally in regards to loaning me the main equipment (APAP Blower), I have found improvement in my sleep enough to tell me that I am certainly benefiting by using xPAP vs.s not. Still don't know my exact diagnosis. Part of my issue is when / during the sleep studies (only one of them in-lab btw), I've never went beyond stage #2 sleep thus no way to measure what could be or should be happening in REM, DEEP, ect...
Now that I'm on APAP, I am certainly getting REM sleep which I feel I have missed out on for quite some time due to daytime fatigue, tiredness, and insomnia prior to xPAP.
