Thanks Grand-PAP. Does the liner help with leaks or is it just for comfort? One other question...I have a Respironics S8 Elite II machine (I know it's old school) and I'm not sure which mask setting to choose or if I need to change any other settings, like EPR?

Hi dannah00,

For sure, the liner is designed for comfort and it does work well. My guess is that it would help with leaks, as well. It would eliminate the cushion having contact with oily skin. Others have commented that they feel the cushion "grips" the cloth better than skin. Personally I feel the secret to controlling leaks with the FitLife is through augmenting the upper head band straps. The additional straps secure the FitLife to the sides of the face, so that the opposite side of the mask is not pushed out of contact with the face when one turn on his/her side. It really does work well. I almost never experience leak problems.

Sorry I can't offer any advice regarding the settings for the S8 Elite II. Perhaps someone else will have advice.

I don't see any reason that any mast would require adjustment to the EPR setting. Again, others might have better knowledge.

Best of luck with your FitLife and your therapy!
