Coexisting conditions...thyroid and sleep apnea??

Thank you - it is interesting because... my grandmother had a goitre and while it's possible it resulted from her European childhood without iodized salt, it also might be genetic thing to look for, as well as the fact I don't fit all the usual diag. criteria for apnea, though had a valid (and not especially low) score on testing, and because I have always felt a slight, vague potential 'obstruction' in the area that I put down to e.g. allergies, or other anatomy. Something I think I might ask my MD about now.
