I am in need of a back up machine. How much are you asking for it? Would you kindly post pictures? Will you accept Paypal?

This community protects its own. You should at least offer payment through Paypal.

An important item to note:
I gather your grandfather has passed, and I offer my condolences.
The model you note is fairly new, and if your grandfather got it through Medicare,
it is unlikely (maybe even impossible) that he satisfied the 13 months rental to own the machine outright.
If this is the case, he did not own the machine, and if it is sold, his DME may come looking for their machine.
His estate (including you) will be liable.
The humidifier, however, is not a rental item, and it could be sold.
I do not mention this out of sympathy for DME's, but as a caution;
These people can afford to hire vicious lawyers.

jordyleet, you still have not offered to meet anybody in person or told us where you and/or the CPAP machine live. First, you need to make sure from the DME that provided the machine to your grampa that it is not still a rental unit & that it can be legally sold. And then tell us where you are- what city???? And also we would like to know the price you are asking. It is possible one of our trusted members is close to you and could vouch for the machine being a working machine, as well as how many hours are on it. Did your grampa smoke? Was there tobacco or any other kind of smoke or pets in the home where the machine stayed? Nonsmokers and allergic persons will not be interested in machine from a smoky house or where pets live, unless at a very very low price.
You could post it for sale on Craigslist or Freecycle.com. If you are legitimate and really want to get rid of that machine, and nobody ponies up the cash you are requesting, donate it to Awake in America, who makes machines available for free to economically challenged persons needing a machine. If you donate it, you can take a tax write off with a receipt from the charitable organization to which you donate.

We are not being hard-arses but we are running a little scared after some of our members got scammed today.

How about posting your location? There may be a potential buyer who is in your area, and could meet you to exchange money and machine.

You told me the machine is advertised on Craigslist Topeka and Wichita Kansas.

I checked and the only PR System One advertised there is a PR System One the former model not the new series 60, old humidifier not for the heated system and it happens to be the machine from the grandfather whom passed away, same as you stated in your first posts. The advertisement was placed on August 23th.

I had enough, sorry I have no more time to figure out if your are saying the truth or not but in case somebody else is still interested could you answer to this: View that there is some not too clear issues and we don't know you, would you accept to be paid on reception of the machine? A lot of us are known here and we have already bought things from the other members. What do you think?
