I found something that helps with my Quattro! I found some 0.16" screen spline. (The stuff is sold at the hardware store for repairing window screens.) I cut a piece about 2" long and put it between the mask and the seal, right at the top where it covers the bridge of the nose. This pushes the top part of the seal out about 4mm from the rest of the mask. I then adjusted the knob so the mask is closer to my chin. (I added 4 to the previous setting.) This allowed me to loosen the straps a bit without leaking.
I'm still experimenting with modified headgear. I think I'm close to a solution that will keep it completely off the back of my neck.
Headgear question

Re: Headgear question
I thought I'd mention my fix for the Quattro.
I need the medium, though the small would fit my face better, but it leaks around my eyes. Using the larger mask plus a padacheek mask liner works for me to stop leaks.
I was having a *huge* problem with neck pain, too, until I juggled the fit a bit.
I keep the top strap tighter than usual, but I don't pull it on all the way. The upper strap is not around the back of my head - it's loose, above the place where it would be if I was actually putting the headgear on correctly. Because I'm not pulling it down all the way, the lower strap is actually hitting my head around the occipital ridge - well above the head/neck juncture.
And the bottom straps aren't too tight, which gives the pillow space to inflate. In fact, the mask is quite loose on my face this way. The bottom of the mask is actually at the level of my *chin* - rather than in the groove above my chin.
So the whole setup is torqued lower in front (on my face), and higher in back (so the headgear doesn't touch my neck). It's entirely on my face, and I can flex or extend my neck as needed to get comfortable without it changing the tension on the mask.
I hope that makes sense. It's actually quite comfortable for me, now that I've got it organized.
