Maybe 3 times a day, but less than an hour -

Depends on the day, but I check it at least once a day. I never know what I'm going to find and I always learn something new!
This is an awesome forum.

You title is misleading. The thread is entitled "How often do you visit the forum, CPAPtalk.com"

The poll asks how many hours day a person spends there.

Two different things!

I had a hard time answering this for this reason. I may spend 1-2 hours on the computer, but not all of that time is on the forum. The amount of time actually spent here varies significantly, regardless of how much time I'm online.

My 13-year-old son is always playing LOTRO. I've been pretty impressed at what a safe environment it is for younger players. Everyone has been friendly and helpful to him.

Of course, now he probably knows more about Middle Earth than I do and I must have read LOTR 20 kagillion times when I was in high school!

Thank you for the correction
Cut me some slack, first time I've ever did a poll. I changed the title, I think its more clear.

As far as the article goes, I sincerely believe it. No doubt.
As previously stated, my other post took me a long time to gather my thoughts and bring them out on paper. Otherwise, I'm on the forum for a much shorter period.

My time here depends on what I am doing here.
If I am writing a novelette to Starlette or Dori or whomever, I am here a lot longer than if I was doing one liners. We all know I have a hard time doing one liners.
Sometimes I can compose a novelette pretty quickly...maybe 15 minutes. Other times it might take me half a day to get it just the way I want it and even then I might go back and edit it a half a dozen times.

And when I need a break...some days I don't even come to the forum.

I may check in a couple of times in the evening to look at the new topics but I usually don't spend an hour a day here. I have some other forums I have to check out too.

Currently I have lots of bits of free time when I am bored and avoiding the sports station in one room and the talking vampire passion book in the other. We can't leave mom alone on the main floor and surfing helps block out the conflicting noise for me. There is only so much baking and cooking I can do.
I never liked computer games, too much like work with nothing to show for it in the end. I did play the first ones on the work univac 1108's - they were those text quest games "you are in a cave" as a group at lunch time with people squealing "left", "right" "Pick it up" over ones shoulder.

At your request Sloop, I also put a category for "less than 1 hour"

Since I work a desk job and have a browser open through out the entire 8+ hr shift, I chose 5+

Actual time spent in forum is probably more adjusted to be about 1 to 2 hours of activity.

But then throw in another hour (on occasion) during the evening from home.

Only an hour, but this is only one forum. I've been a forum junkie since I got that hot new 1200 baud modem. Caught the online fever when a friend showed me the early Compuserve on his 300baud acoustic-coupler unit.

Remember being able to read text faster than it could appear on your screen? Direct-connect and 1200baud got my friend SOO jealous. A whole screenful of text (24-line x 40 char) in 8 seconds!
