My S9 tells in my SD card is invalid and wants to erase it. Resmed program shows data up to 7-25-12 from 7-12-11. I have a backup of card data. Can I just let the S9 erase the card and then transfer the BU data back to the card? Machine wil not work with the invalid card in it.
Re: Sd card
If downloaded the data from the card, it doesn't hurt to let the S9 do its thing and erase otherwise it wont start.
Beside all compliance data is on the machine - nothing is lost. Or you could use a new card

Re: Sd card
I would try a blank card first. Although no one has read the data yet, when my orginal card got full and I did not have insurance/doctor to look at it, I just found a spare 1 gig card from a camera, wiped it and started to use that. It has something on it written by the machine and the CPAP still works.
Your millage may vary. The worst you should be able to loose is data from now till the next time you see your doctor.

Thanks for all the advice. Took card and put it in S9. Let machine reformat the card. Took card and put it in computer and used ResSacn to read it. All info going back to 1st use almost a year ago was intact. Only lost 2 nights of DETAILED info. On summary page, all info was present, so looks like I only lost 2 nights of DETAILED info.
Thanks again.....
Thanks again.....
Re: Sd card
The S9 retains summary data for up to 365 days in machine memory. That data is written to the card whenever the card is formatted by the S9. High resolution flow data is stored for 7 days only, and only on the card. Other detail data is recorded for 30 days and only on the card. Any detail data not backed up on your PC or downloaded into Resscan will be lost for good whenever the S9 formats the card.Black8 wrote:Thanks for all the advice. Took card and put it in S9. The S9 is extremely picky about the files on the SD card. If it sees anything not to its liking it will not use the card until it's been reformatted by the machine. Resscan is more tolerant of the file structure on the SD card.
This issue has been discussed in depth during the past two years. A search on S9 and SD card should bring up the topics.

What are you saying? The compliance and therapy data is the summary data.sol wrote:http://www.s9morecomfort.com/s9morecomf ... ement.htmlidamtnboy wrote:The S9 retains summary data for up to 365 days in machine memory
