I've just finished work on a non-SleepyHead project, and got back from my vacation, so I'm available. Do you have a mailing list for SleepyHead programmers? I can't be the only programmer who would like to help.jedimark wrote:I hope I can get my brain in high gear and deliver an update soon that addresses the multitudes of bugs/new machine support/etc..

What gertrude said.gertrude wrote:Can't help with the data, but want to say that the "very crummy bugs" in Sleepyhead are at the most a minor inconvenience. The program is fabulous and has made a huge difference to my understanding and wellbeing. Hope your problems are sorted out soon.
I don't look at SH and say, "This thing is so buggy!" I say, "What a wonderfully helpful tool." I say it in my heart and from my heart every day! Thank you! Good luck with your life challenges.

I have no doubt, how I sleep affects every waking moment.
I am making progress-NOW I remember that I can't remember

If this isn’t rocket science why are there so many spaceshots?

Hi Mark, really glad to see you again, you've been missed and now some of the newcomers have the chance to meet you too! I hope your family situation is quieting down somewhat so you can get back to what you love to do with SH. I hope you know that you've helped hundreds of people here and we're grateful to you.

Re: Ping.. Lazy SleepyHead Programmer is still alive.
G'day Mark! Welcome back to the forum! Hey, man, no need to apologize at all. I lost my Mum, got diagnosed with severe sleep apnea that must have been going on for 30 years (or more!), had a son with a mild concussion, changed jobs (not entirely voluntarily), worked my butt off to help turn the new company around (still a work in progress!), and my wife had a severe relapse of endometriosis. Fortunately, all is coming right now. Part of the coming right has been the ability to use SleepyHead as a tool to know how well my treatment is working, and make a few minor adjustments. Still not completely right, but I do feel almost normal again. Moral of the story is that I know my little tale is nothing like as bad as some I have read about here, but I do know the number that health problems can do on your plans for special projects. So, welcome back when you can make it to this part of your world. Know that we are all rooting for you, and your work is much appreciated - especially by those who have taken the time to explore the site. We all know that you do take this program very seriously, and we appreciate that. Thank you again and again and again.

Re: Ping.. Lazy SleepyHead Programmer is still alive.
Good to hear from you and even with a few issues SleepyHead is VERY useable. No need to apologize for what life (and all that rhymes with it) throw at you, that needs to be top priority. As if life does not throw enough curves, this whole sleep deprivation thing takes an additional toll and makes things more complicated then they ever should be.

Re: Ping.. Lazy SleepyHead Programmer is still alive.
Mark, you have my patches/etc, but if you need me to work on anything in particular just let me know. Also, if you want me to consolidate a few of my patches just let me know which ones. It seems like most of the issues right now are with the 60-series and I'd need the raw data to do anything with that.
