Those graphs are great for showing SpO2.
The 3 groups of low spikes are typical for low O2. The O2 rises slowly. The spike just after 7 am is most likely a movement related spike.
Notice with real low O2, hear rate is low and drops but increase as O2 increases. That looks like a wake up event. The spike just after 7 is after the heart rate has increased and looks like rolling over type movement but notice the lowering O2 as 7 am approaches so it could be related to an apnea event but the O2 didn't go down to 75 then, that was a sensor issue.

One thing to consider is as you zoom in on the data, it gets better.
At 3:33 you have two samples reading at 80 and the next at 88 (or whatever the red line is). To me that means the O2 is unlikely to be above 88 and unlikely to be below 80 and could be anywhere in between.

Any idea how long it will be before you finally get your machine?
Well I had my second study done last Sun night . . . possibly my Dr will get the results by the end of THIS week . . . then I HOPEFULLY can just talk to him on the phone . . . and make a decision about my needs, and write a prescription . . . I've already got my list made for him

1. S9 AutoSet™ CPAP Machine

2. S9™ Series H5i™ Heated Humidifier with Climate Control

3. ClimateLine™ Tubing for S9™ and H5i™ Climate Control System

4. DC Converter 24V/90W For S9™ Machines

5. And a MASK - still need to figure that out (Even though I have the "Extra" Swift FX coming . . .)

6. Filters, and any cushions I may need to get started . . .

and the reasons written down to support why I need what I say I do . . .

I'm a long distance irregular route truck driver and my company (Werner) prefers we stay out for 2 - 4 WEEKs at a time, they also try to make me take my time off on the weekend (I get one day off for each week out) so . . . hopefully in two weeks I'll be home, and get my machine!

Don't be suprised if you just get a call from the lab asking what DME you want then to fax the data to. I didn't hear from my sleep doc until the 30 day follow up.
Get copies for yourself. You may have to shop for a DME and you will need the script and both full reports with condensed graphs. Keep a copy for yourself.
It's like having cash in hand when you are car shopping.

Well . . . the sleep lab/torture center has a "sister" company that is a DME! They really are nice, just a strange place to try to get sleep!

HOWEVER I have already found a link on my ins website (BCBS) of DME's, whom I plan to call around to before walking in the door, I want prices of everything on my list before I walk in, or I'll walk somewhere else! I still have about $300 deductible to pay, then 20% . . . so the price is IMPORTANT To ME!

I also plan on asking my Dr (actual GP, I don't have a specialist) for copies of BOTH my sleep studies . . . for MY own records, If I have not heard from in by next WED (He only works here Mon, Wed, Fri, half days) I'll call HIM!

Thanks for the information. I didn't take a sleeping pill (herbal Valerian Root) until after I put the oximeter on my finger. So, I was up & down a bit before I really settled in for sleep.

Thanks: I'll be changing it & other things soon.

You sound armed and ready Shawn. Good prep!
For all the bad talk about them here, I have had good service from Apria. I wanted a nationwide company for travel.
They gave me the Autoset I wanted, (not without some discussion ), and I get my replacement supplies.
With this forum, I don't really need anything else from them.

{offtopic} Been there, done that. Glad I'm not doing it anymore... Drove for Werner from 1998 - 2000. I know exactly what you are going through regarding your work. Tough lifestyle.

Best wishes to you and your wife and hope you both get hooked up with some equipment asap!
