After a couple of years of use, I am not sure if I hit the wrong button. Now I do not see the 0-3 indicators or the light on the round button that is used to change the heat setting. The menu button is lit.
The pressure is the same. The tank is filled. Is there a setting to turn off the backlight? Or may be the back light burned up?
Any feedback is appreciated.
REMstar Humidifier is not working
Re: REMstar Humidifier is not working
Wecome to the board Mozzz.
Please fill in the equipment on your profile. There's a link in my signature below.
I'm guessing you have a Philips Respironics Series One (PRS1) machine.
Have you been into the clinician's menu? There's a LED backlight setting there.
Are you sure the humdifier's not working? Start the machine, turn the knob to the right, let it run for a while, then turn it off, take the tank out and see if the water tank and plate are warm. (Don't burn yourself on the plate.)
TAKE THE WATER TANK OUT, so you don't spill water into the machine and ruin it.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the machine. Then disconnect the humidifier from the blower unit. There's a slider tab on on the bottom of the humidifier . Look at how the two units fit together, particularly the connector. Plug them back together carefully and see if the lights come on now.
