Trick for Cleaning Climateline
Trick for Cleaning Climateline
I just cleaned my hose for the first time. I was waiting until I received a new one just incase I wrecked the one I have. I know vinagar should be used, but I just put it in the sink with the water tank to soak in baby shampoo. Then I found out the end of the hose that attacthes to the mask fits perfect over the faucet. I slip it on the faucet and let the hot water flow.

I use a short piece of 3/4" copper tube to connect the two ends together and slosh soapy water back and forth. Then just rinse it out much as you describe. I do this when I take a shower. Don't have to worry about making a mess all over the place!

Re: Trick for Cleaning Climateline
I bought one of those stupid hose brushes; they assured me it would work on the Climateline.
It barely went inside--with a LOT of effort. I figured that would destroy the hose quickly,
so I pulled it out and put it in the kitchen. I use it under the fridge now.

Thanks for this info. I was just looking at the brush yesterday. Now I am glad I did not order one.

22mm standard tube brush found on our hosts website (probably others as well) just won't fit into the 15mm ClimateLine tubing.........I was also told " it will fit OK, don't worry"....never ordered.

Good point. I've been doing that for quite a while, but probably haven't been pointing it out often enough.jlhog wrote:I just cleaned my hose for the first time. Some kitchen faucets won't fit the hose, but you may be able to change the nozzle or "aerator" to make it fit.
