When skin is missing

For those who use tape and pull skin off, use Tegaderm on the raw area. You leave it on until the area is healed or until it essentially falls off by itself (as long as you don't see any signs of infection under the Tegaderm). When you peel it off stretch it parallel to the skin first; gently a little at a time. There are probably good directions on the box. Another product are the new blister bandaids that are called gel bandaids by some makers. Again don't peel them off every day or you'll disturb the new skin.
