What are you in for? First , Read all you can from these posts. Read http://www.sleepreviewmag.com for excellent information from a sleep docs view.
Check prices at https://www.cpap.com look under auto units such as the PB420E.
Masks, humidifiers... Make sure you get a hummidifier . Especially if you live in the north. Look at the resmed masks. They are hard to beat. You dont need to go thru a DME . Even with insurance your deductible will usually pay for most equipment if you buy online.. If the DME representitive just happens to be at the Dr. office when you see him for your RX make sure it goes into your little hand and not the DMEs.
If you cant remember your name it is printed on your driver license.

You're in for the Sleep of your Life
Greetings,
Yes, you will get sleep. Maybe the first night, or maybe after you've tried a few machines and masks. The first equipment you get may not be what's best for you, so don't give up. Stay in contact with your DR and don't let any DME (durable medical equipment) reps TELL you what's best. Ask questions and ask a lot of them. If something isn't working right for you, CALL YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY!!! Don't wait 6 months like I did, 'because I didn't know any better. And...stay in touch on this forum. Ask, read, and learn. You will soon find you know more about this than your DR does if you do.
