Generally speaking, nope. There is just enough heat to raise the humidity in the air. But it's not really a "warm nose" thing. In fact, a wet nose is often a cold nose. (Ask my golden retriever).

I don't think the air should feel "cold" with a Respironics humidifier turned up as high as it will go -- to five. It won't feel hot blowing into your nose, but it shouldn't feel downright cold.

In the morning, if you put your hand down around the base of the water chamber, do you feel any warmth down there at all?

If you turn the machine off during the night and then turn it back on, are you remembering to also turn the humidifier back on too?

If you want more warmth, add the Aussie heated hose. Recently I saw an online store website that has the Aussie heated hose. First time I've seen it offered in a store in this county. It's about time! cpapusa.com
