Bummer! I just got an email that the cpap library mask trial program has been discontinued. I really liked that, but I guess it was too good to last.
I was on the list to try a Sleep Weaver cloth mask. If anyone has any input they care to offer on it, I would love to hear it. I have read the reviews on our host's site. I may yet buy it and see if it works, with the 30-day money back return period....but not this month!

Re: Mask Trial Program Discontinued
Hi, future Sleep Weaver owner Jill,
I love the SW's comfort. It's discussed here fairly regularly. From a post made last month, particularly regarding humidity and SW mask: It seems to me that with the larger leak rate, SW requires more humidity than hard masks do. As for the leak rate being too much, I had a nice surprise at my redo sleep study May 17th: the SleepWeaver with the chin strap and Bruxism nightguard did not leak enough to get me stuffed into a FFM due to excessive leak. On the Resmed home units, SleepWeavers generally show up with excessive leaks, but the Respironics used at the sleep study didn't seem to care.
IF you order a SW mask, make very sure it's the latest version, as it purports to have a better seal. It will have been manufactured after about early March 12.
Here's an email reply I got from Corcadiance in early March, on how to determine which version the mask is:
"There are a few ways to determine if your SleepWeaver mask has our new & improved seal. If you are looking at the mask itself, on the back side of the mask just below the opening for your nose, there is a diagonal seam. If this seam is on the left side, you have the newest version of the SleepWeaver.
You may also be able to determine if you have the newest mask based upon the lot number. This is the 6 digit number which appears in a box on the back side of the mask - the number will begin with "00". This number will also appear on the packaging label on the box. If your mask has a lot number that is the same as the number below or higher you have the latest version.
Beige 001133 or higher
Pink 001134 or higher
Camouflage 001135 or higher
Leopard 001136 or higher
*Blue 001130 or higher
* For blue masks with lot number 001130, you will need to also reference the seam location (right or left) to determine if you have the new and improved mask."
I hope you find yourself comfortable with the new mask.

Thank you so much for the specific information, as well as the leak information and the overall recommendation of the product!

Hi Jill,
I've posted quite a lot on my trials, issues and success with the SleepWeaver mask - if you do a search on this forum you'll find quite a lot.
I love my SW for amazing comfort, although I do still find leaks are an issue on occasions, but not all the time - well worth the effort to make this one work particularly in summer.
cheers,
xena

Does the Sleepweaver work on anybody who wears a 'small'?
Not necessarily every one-but someone?
