Chin-up Strips

Post by VikingGnome » Mon May 21, 2012 4:57 pm

Anyone tried the Chin-Up Strips? They are supposed to stop mouth breathing and venting as well as snoring. Recommended for use with CPAP for those that have mouth breathing and venting problems. Do they really work? I'm really tempted to try them.

I cut a boomerang shape (see their illustrations) out of 2" blue painters' tape.
That works pretty good--though the tape could be more flexible.
I suppose theirs are more flexible. I'm just too big a tightwad.

I notice Amazon and Rite-Aid Online no longer carries them. hmmmm Maybe they don't work as advertised.

One site had "Snore Cure"===> Pair of Ear plugs

They are about the same cost as Breathe right strips.

If you do a search (above in the blue box) use the word chinup strips and you will get alot of feedback. There was a long discussion on them about a year and a half ago. I tried them, but I am allergic to any kind of tape, so no dice for me.
Started cpap in 2010.. still at it with great results.
