user name change and an update...

Post by Tash » Thu Mar 16, 2006 9:38 am

Hi all! I have changed my user name (formerly Newgal), for a few reasons - lots of "gals" on this forum (not a bad thing ) but never intended to step on any of the previous gals name choice AND I no longer feel like a Newgal anyhow... three months of APAP use and feeling SO much better.

I have to thank everyone who ever replied, gave advice and/or support, when I started out I was overwhelmed and frankly, just dead tired. There were times I knew that I could have found the answers on my own using that darn search button, but just didn't have the energy to do it. You all didn't hold that against me, and just replied with info you had already discussed in a previous post. I can't begin to tell you how much easier you made this whole "hosehead experience" for me!

I just started working out on Monday (3/13) - I used to work out pretty regularly, but haven't since my daughter was born (she's 3). Pretty much, after she was born, my sleep issues became HUGE and normal everyday functioning took every ounce of energy that I had. I feel like I finally have a bit of a reserve, and my body has some energy to spare on taking better care (exercise does a body good).

For those of you who are wondering, I haven't perfected the deconstructed Aura - started swallowing a ton of air, so I am back to the UltraMirage FF mask, and I raised my pressure about a month ago to 7-12 - seems to be working a bit better. Next mask to purchase is the Nasalaire II and then the Activa... (the quest continues...)

I have been reading a lot of posts, but not posting/replying - just know I think you all are great and truly appreciate the time you spend here helping others!

Take care!
Tash (formerly newgal)
