Broken Goodknight 425!

Post by psyonicist » Sat Apr 28, 2012 3:31 am

Hi all,

I have severe sleep apnea and have been using a Goodknight 425 BIPAP machine with the humidifier for about two years. I love the machine and I actually look forward to putting it on for a good night's sleep......... unfortunately, it just quit working! It turns on but I get Error code 8, then an Error code 2. According to the manual, that means its getting too hot and that it has a problem with the internal power supply.

My question is, does anyone know of place that can repair these units? If not, is there a suitable replacement for this machine? I have tried CPAP machines in the past and they do not work for my condition, I must use a BiPAP. I have not tried a VPAP but I'm leery to change when I know what works well for me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm getting to the point where I'm not able to function at work any longer!
