Looking to sell resmed S9-Elite & H5i humidifier plus acs.

I wanted to make sure I sold this and it was the Legal way so I figured I would check here, a little background my wife was diagnosed with Sleep Apnea. The doctors made her do sleep studies 3 to be exact, long story short they told us she needs a sleep apnea machine the whole kit and kaboodle. We go out spend 2000$ on everything "out of pocket" and the day we got it she turned it on tried it didnt like it and decided after her surgery we would get it adjusted. After her surgery "she had her tonsils removed." Sleep apnea just went away, she had 2 more studies done and had no signs of apnea. We couldnt return the device as it was deemed "used" even though it has a whopping 1-2 hours of use. So Im happy my wife has been cleared by the doctors and they told her she no longer needs the treatment the surgery corrected her issue.

It is a res med S9 Elite with heated humidifier with cleanable tub. a Nasal mask and tubing with all power cords in the case with manual filters and all literally like you bought it from the store never used. Except the 1-2 hours. Im looking to sell it now and figured this would be a good spot to find out if I could and/or what it would be worth? I saw the S9 elite was going for anywhere from $809.00 to $1000 depending on the website and then the absurd MSRP 1800$ non sense which I know thats just a rip off. its done nothing but sit on the shelf in its case as a very expensive decoration. the humidifier I found online going for $269.00 and the mask was $69.00 I didnt even look at the filters or other supplies. I also saw a "package deal" which is what we bought with everything in the case here priced to move at 1300$. Im not sure what I could or should sell it for and if anyone is interested please feel free to msg me.

You might also try listing your machine on your local craigslist.

To give you an idea about used prices you might check secondwindcpap.com. Those are retail and inflated a bit but will give you a ballpark figure for craigslist pricing. They also will buy used machines to resell but they buy at wholesale prices..no where near what you paid.

For here on the forum....to give you an idea what things bring here.
There is a S9 Autoset with zero hours and humidifier, hose and travel case right now available for $450.
Last fall I bought a used S9 Autoset...humidifier, hose and travel case for $250.
The S9 Elite would be valued a wee bit less since the Autoset is more expensive to start with.

No laws are broken when a private individual elects to sell their equipment. EBay doesn't allow machine listings due to the RX requirement...like who would want to fork out the money for this stuff if we didn't have the need and a RX ...but craigslist has no problem with machines being listed. I have bought several machines via craigslist..

Awesome ty for the response yes I just posted the photos of what i had it is an autoset according to the paper work.

If it is an Autoset...you might want to edit your subject title and remove the Elite comment and add Autoset instead. You will get more lookers with Autoset showing in the subject title.

They manual is a combine manual...Elite/Autoset.
Elite is a straight fixed pressure cpap machine.
Autoset is an auto adjusting pressure machine.

If it is an Autoset..it will show up plainly on the upper left corner of the blower.
So it will either say Autoset or Elite. Ignore what the manual says..

Thanks i looked at it it says Elite. My goal is to just try and get some of our money back while helping out someone get a decent price for a brand new machine, we'll see what happens.

To give you an idea I bought a zero hour new S9 autoset for $400. So I would think you would be looking for around $250-300 range as far as price.

I just got this same cpap just over a week ago to replace a failed S8. I would not mind having a second unit to have as a spare and to use for traveling. Once you decide what you are going to ask for it I might be interested in it.
