Spare/Travel Cpap Machine

Post by luvmykatz » Sun Mar 12, 2006 2:36 pm

I've heard some people say they have a different machine for travel or keep a spare. I have a Remstar Plus C-Flex. I would like a lighter (in weight), smaller unit for camping, traveling. Anyone have one you love to travel with?

PB420 - very light - well made - reasonable price.

Cheers

I too was going to recommend the PB unit, until I saw that you were going camping. You might want to check out the Everest Aura Travel by AEIOmed, which has its own rechargeable battery pack as part of the unit, and built in humidifier.

Thank you dsm and capt--I appreciate your help. My remstar plus cflex has the adapter for 12v and cigarette lighter use but it's heavy. It work would fine for camping, though. Just have to lug it to the trailer and back in when we're done. Flight and car travel, though, I would like a lighter unit. I appreciate your comments.

ISO a QUIET travel CPAP

Post by Aeron » Mon Mar 13, 2006 12:14 pm

I am also thinking of buying a CPAP just for travel, but for indoor use only. I often share a guest room with other visitors, and am looking for opinions on what (quality) machines are quiet enough use in a shared room (and which ones are too loud!) Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you, Group!
