First Night With Zeo = 57

Post by jweeks » Thu Apr 19, 2012 4:04 pm

Hi,

I tried the Zeo for the first time last night. I scored a 57. It was an unusually poor night of sleep for me, and I am not sure why. I woke up at 3 AM and was up almost an hour before I went back to bed, which happens from time to time. I was very restless even when sleeping. As a result, I was a little slow all day long.

Here is how it broke down:

Total Time = 6h 41m
Woke up 5 times for a total of 1h 10m
REM = 52 minutes
Deep Sleep = 25 minutes
Light sleep = 5h 24m

Zeo scored me +5 and +4 for the amount of deep sleep and REM, but both seem low, especially the 25 minutes of deep sleep. The Z-meter suggests that I should be getting about twice those numbers for deep sleep and REM.

Since I am tired already this evening, perhaps I'll sleep better. I have been in a good groove lately, so having a poor night of sleep is a little unusual, and I sure feel it.

Well, it's a start!

I also hit a 50 early on, and a 39 another night starting out, but I've been climbing, two steps up, one step back, two steps up, ... as I learn and adapt and adjust my APAP therapy and sleep hygene. Last night was a 97 and I have an 89 average this week. I might have to ease up a bit so I don't over sleep (wink).

Now you can measure another dimension of your sleep, otherwise unseen, which can lift you higher.
