go to http://sourceforge.net/projects/sleepyhead/ download the software onto your computer. Make a note of where you installed the software...it is usually in the program file.
Once you find the software, right click on the .exe file and create a shortcut to your desktop..Once you do that, you will be able to start the software easily.
I unplug my machine before I remove the SD card.
Once I have the SD card out (simple push it into the machine and it will release for removal)I move the tab on the side to lock the SD card. This will prevent the destruction of any information that is on the card.
If your computer has an SD slot you can put it directly into your computer. If it does not have a slot, then you need to buy an SD reader which is an adapter that plugs into your usb port and allows you to see the contents of the SD card
Once the card is in the computer, run the Sleep Head software. click on import. You will have to find the letter of your drive (ie the SD slot letter or the USB slot letter...just point the software to the letter..It will import your information from the card. You are now ready to read all the information that was stored on your card.
Once you are done importing, eject the card
Move the tab on the card to unlock the SD card
Place the card back into your machine
plug in the machine
Wait a few seconds and the machine will be up and running with the card information ready for your next night's sleep.
Hope this helps.

If you want ResScan http://www.resmed.com/int/assets/html/s ... ister.html

Tutorial for managing ResScan http://montfordhouse.com/cpap/resscan_tutorial/

Look in my signature line for SleepyHead information. Be sure to read the User guide.
The latest SleepyHead version is Beta and will install like a regular program installs and makes its own shortcut so there is no need to go looking for the .exe file.
Hint for you if you are using Vista or Windows 7.....when you install ...go to the setup files and right click on them and from the menu choice that pops up choose "run as administrator" and then allow the install to complete. Doing it this way enables the update to install without issues. If you don't install the program with full administrator privileges then the update will fail and you have to manually open SleepyHead and choose "run as administrator".

I have both software packages available for use but I prefer SleepyHead. Smaller, faster and easier to manage even if it is Beta and has a few minor bugs.
