Southern California has pricey gas. They must be putting real gold in it because yesterday morning I paid $60 for 14.154 gallons of 87 octane gasoline ($4.239 per gallon) .
I'm sure it is not the highest in the US, but it has to be close to the top for the lowest grade gasoline. BTW, this was from one of the lower priced stations (ARCO) that is just slightly higher than Costco, which has the best price from what I have heard...

You don't know how good you've got it! Down under we are paying around $US6 per gallon on a good day. Although 91 octane is as low as we can buy.

Theres an email floating around that says May 1, 2012 is gas protest day. What they are telling us is not to buy gas at the big gas companies....they are the ones that are fixing the price, so if we don't buy there they will lower the price. Supply and Demand......if they have a huge supply and there no demand . I don't buy gas at large retailers, I go to the little guys and my kids go to Costco.
Started cpap in 2010.. still at it with great results.

That guy smiling as he leaves the gas station is driving a Prius.
Even we will participate in the protest.
If we are in Omaha that day, we may look for a 'mom & pop' across the river in CB.
Nebraska gas taxes BITE!
