Real avatar? Sure, that will be next. Keep in mind, if they don't care for the looks of you they may elect to revoke your internet privileges, or maybe just filter what you're allowed to receive and submit. On the other hand, your picture is probably unnecessary since they've already determined what "kind" of person your are from your name and address.

An intolerant society hates anonymity. The majority hates being criticized and challenged by the minority. We have seen clear examples of this here on the forum when suddenly the important issue is not what's being said, but the pathetic, desperate, paranoid need to know who said it. While this has often provided entertainment for those of us reading along, it suddenly becomes less amusing when we see, as in the proposed legislation in New Jersey, our Constitutional rights are being threatened.

So much for the First Amendment in New Jersey.

But New Jersey is one of the most Democratically controlled states in the country. How could this happen to the freedom loving people there? What have the politicians there been doing?
