I have been using O2 concentrator for 4 years. I got the O2 before the APAP while I was waiting for sleep study.
I connect the O2 adapter at the mask end of the hose since I use a heated hose, it can not be connected at the machine. I have always used 25 to 30 feet of air hose and keep the machine in another room because it is way to noisy to be next to my bed. I use 3 liters of O2 and monitor with my CMS 50i. The O2 keeps me close to 94% most of the time and prevents desats below 88% which used to occur occasionally with pap and no O2. Get a pulse Ox and monitor your saturation just like your PAP therapy.

Neat. I wonder if it has a check valve in it?
nope, look at the zoomed pic, nothing but hose.

In the summer I use a plain hose and I have my O2 port next to my machine but in the winter my port is between the hose and the mask. My DME doesn't have the heated hose with the port in it.

the climateline max with o2 port is pretty new, prod them? and/or, get it from our hosts here?

alternatively, something like this: http://smile.amazon.com/10pcs-Velcro-Ho ... cable+ties

velcro with hooks on one side and loops on the other so they stick to themselves. wrap 'em around the hose, and then the o2 line. soft and won't catch when you move around.
