Although I usually wear a full face mask, I tried the Swift Nasal pillows again last night when I noted that my left nostril (once again) felt like fire from the 16 cm H2O iPAP pressure. I'm not really sure why, but I decided the hose might be distorting my nostril just enough to be irritating.

So... I switched the hose to go across my face and attach on the side opposite my BiPAP and it was immediate relief. I even tinkered with routing the hose over the top of my head, but that was irritating as well, so I left it attached and draped across my chest and connected opposite PAP side and I managed to wear it about four hours before going back to the full face.

She needs more humidification captain! I have my H2 Humidifier on 5/5 and the nasal pillows still make me dry as a bone--but I'm still trying options!

Thanks and good luck!

I have the S8 Vantage & really like it. Also, it's very easy to travel with.
