I guess since you girls didn't actually watch The Game, how'd your Wings turn out? Did you cater or make from scratch?

No wings, here my dad was a butcher back in the day and we threw those suckers out! Tex Mex Stew from scratch it was great! Did watch the game in between playing with my grandbaby! Didn't know you could just sit your butt in the end zone and score points that everyone would boo cause he sat too soon! I'm a die hard baseball fan (I know) you're boo ing me now!!

Whoa, you must've lived on Knob Hill!

We had to eat the feet (after yankin' on the tendon for a while and havin' a good ol' time!); head cheese (a sandwich meat that watches you as you eat it); kiska (look it up, you'll love it!); and literally every conceivable part of pig anatomy you can imagine!

Ahh, the good ol' days...

I so well remember the lower chicken leg and claw in Grampa Kuriata's home made chicken noodle soup every Sunday afternoon. I never envied him for it. I was happy to eat my soup w/those home made noodles and then dig into the creamed chicken (made w/sour cream) and the home made bread w/home made butter ...... *sigh* .... now I am HUNGRY.

Our favorite, beautiful cat was killed by a dog today--in our own yard.
I'm so very sorry, Chunky. That is heart breaking. (((hugs)))
