Instructions for mirage quattro full face mask

Post by spiral_15 » Thu Jan 26, 2012 12:28 pm

Good day all,
I have been having difficulty controlling my AHI's and understand that improper wearing of
your mask may be the culprit. I seem to have a difficult time getting the mask to seal without it being very tight on my face. Are there any instructions available that show the proper way to wear the mask and check for leaks etc?

The key is not to have it too tight. Its all trial and error Im afraid but dont leave it till night time. Why not jump on the bed after dinner or when time suits put your mask on and try different tightness on the straps and adjust your mask placing. Doing this in the daytime when you have the time is alot easier than waiting till your ready for bed and tired. Hope this helps

You might read Taming the Mirage Quattro here by a forum member if you haven't seen it.
Some practical tips from an actual user...http://maskarrayed.wordpress.com/taming ... e-quattro/

Also there is a video that might help. http://www.cpaplibrary.com/full-face-masks.html

I'd also suggest purchasing a mask liner from padacheek.com
It helps tremendously with the comfort of the mask.

I had a terrible time adjusting the Quattro full face mask. I switched to the Quattro FX which has minimal adjustments. It worked great the first time I used it.
It works even better now since I got the Pad A Cheek liner for it.

My thanks to all who took the time to post a reply.
They are all very good responses and I will give each
idea a try. I wish you all restful sleep and good AHI numbers.
