I made my fiance at the time, now husband, get CPAP or I wouldn't marry him. I was much more turned off by the snoring than the CPAP. When I was dating, I don't think it would have been such a big deal. More something to joke about.

Good luck in getting back into the dating world.

SleepingUgly, I've told you before..I love your username! Now, about the bikini thing...I will, ONLY if you will too!!
There we are, in our bikinis with our masks on, holding our machines in one hand and maybe the hose draped around our waist some, Gorgeous!

and thanks Jenn for the encouragement. Your man has a good woman...

I've come a long way since sitting in the middle of that bed at the sleep clinic at 2:30 a.m, bawling my eyes out....
Lord help me to remember that nothing is going to happen to me today that you and I together cant handle.

I can relate to that. I was terrified when they told me to come back for a second round.. for CPAP fitting.. I actually woke up in the clinic and ripped the mask off unable to breathe. I just wanted to leave, everything in me wanted to grab my stuff and go home. I'm a computer nerd that works around electric substations, everything from 7,000 to 200,000 Volts less than 15 feet off the ground. I've never felt more scared or helpless than the moment I woke up in that clinic. They had the pressure set to 23 on me, without EPR, needless to say I was not amused. Thankfully I'm not a back sleeper..

I've been using my CPAP for around three weeks now and I can't go without it. I didn't feel very different, until I had to go a night without it. People come and go, having a CPAP machine might make things a bit harder when looking, but it will definitely weed out the ones that don't deserve you anyway!

Oh and it was 26.
