Hi everybody
Happy New Year to all of you, wish you good health, good sleep, and a wonderful 2012.
I would like to know if you have been recently at Walmart to buy those unexpensive sport's mouthguards.
I'm using a Wilson double density bought at Walmart USA last year. This mouthguard was VERY easy to mold and it's very good, it's the best I have tried.
Yesterday I went to a Walmart here in Quebec Canada and it was cero mouthguards, let alone a Wilsons.
If you have seen/bought recently mouthguards at Walmart USA could you PLEASE let me know which model it is? If I don't find anything good here I would need to go to Plattsbourg NY or to Williston Vermont to try to get some. Because it's 2 hours to go and 2 hours to come back (plus customs ) I need to be sure before making that long trip.
I'm having problems with my skin (rip out) with tapping, my only solution is to wear a mouthguard to avoid mouth breathing (which works good 99% of the time).
Thanks very much
Rosie

Hi Rosie
I bought several from Walmart, not the ones in the link given abouve. Those are uncomfortable and badly fit my mouth
Throw away all of them. Cost is around $1 each and you have to boil them first. You might want to try the one in the link, hope that somebody can tell us which one is most suitable for our purpose. Browsing at a glance, they might be designed for boxers...

LSAT
It was a good idea but it seems the online mouth guards are not switable for our purposes , all have holes or what seems to be rigid plastic structures in the middle.
Hi Cpapernewbie
The one I use is this one http://www.walmart.com/ip/WILSON-Adult- ... k/11962936 It was very easy to adjust. I even was able to cut it with an exacto before boiling it, because it was too high for my gums. Before trying that one I had bought another at $15 in a sports store here; that one had a hard plastic piece inside very uncomfortable, I never was able to use it.
On a fast search I saw not all the Walmart USA have them on stock, Williston has them on stock (2.5 hours drive ); Plattsburg (2 hours drive) has limited stock so it's a risk to go there because if there is non Williston is in the other side of the looooong Lake Champlain . Malone has them 2.5hours. Not funny
I think that product is not available Walmart online, I'm not able to find it. Anyway. Cpapernewbie, if you want to try something I suggest you to try this one.
Rosie
Edit to add: the reason I find the double cushion betters is because of the fact of been thicker. When you mold it you can make imprints on it for your lower teeth without finishing with an all crooked thin mouth guard.
