Aura vs Breeze

Post by hecate » Wed Feb 22, 2006 5:29 pm

Hi,

I'm currently using a swift, which I prefer over the full face mask, but I have a fat face and the side straps dig in to my face. I'm now looking at the aura or the Breeze. MY DME doesn't carry the Aura, but if it's better I will shell out my own money to buy it. I'm still in the trial period with my DME as far as masks go so I can try others too. Which one do people prefer and why? I've done a search, but there are so many topics I can't see the wood for the trees. I'm a side sleeper mostly, but do occasional sleep on my back, but its a sorta a sitting-up thing.

Thanks in anticipation.
Liz

Depends on your face! Seriously, I tried the Aura and found it to be very leaky and wouldn't keep a seal with the slightest movement. I love the Breeze.

The next person will come along and say they love the Aura and hate the Breeze.

It REALLY depends on the size, length, width of your head, face, cheeks, nose, facial bone structure, etc.

If the Breeze is covered, try it first and save yourself the money of buying the Aura out of pocket. If you end up not liking the Breeze, then you might as well spring for the Aura. You'll never know until you try it. (You never know until you try ANY mask!)
