Squealing Humidifier

Post by krousseau » Tue Feb 21, 2006 8:17 am

Is there anyone who has had problems with the REMstar Auto Cflex Heated humidifier making a high pitched squeal or whine and what did you do about it. I'm reasonably sure it is the humidifier as I haven't been able to get the blower alone to make the noise-and I have been able to lower the pitch by modifying the baffle a little. I assume the baffle to to prevent splashback into the blower so won't even try it without the baffle???

check the connection between the humidifier and the machine itself. It's not uncomon to dislodge the connector piece or even forget to have it in there, or you may just not have the container's entry tube fully seated into the machine opening.

Sorry if those sound obvious, but I've done them all
