Do I own this machine?

Do I own my CPAP or is a lease type of thing. Just curious because tomorrow I think I may break it into a million pieces. I've had UPPP surgery in 2007, sinus surgery in 2010, and now a CPAP machine. This thing is like the icing on the cake of my misery. I hate it. If I happen to sweat, it leaks. It constantly leaks around my nose and I tried every set of pillows or whatever they are called that came with my kit. Just another racket to make me go to more doctors and spread the wealth around. And I was excited and very receptive to get the machine. SIgh.

You wanted the CPAP, couldn't make it work (your fault) so you fault the doctors and now want to break it in a million pieces. Go ahead, that's really smart of you. Break it instead of dealing with problems.
By the way call your DME or insurance to make sure it's paid for. I can't believe you don't even know that. No wonder you have failed. You gave up out of the gate. A machine was wasted on you.

There are LOTS of of different type masks on the market. Until you have tried them all you are not done yet. Just because one style does not work, try another style.

Many people like nasal pillows over nasal mask or full face mask.

Tells us more about the mask you have tried, your equipment and pressure settings. Don't give up yet.

I doubt you would have come here if you really were ready to give up.

Please list your equipment. Then folks will chime in and be able to help you. All of us have days when we are ready to toss the machine out the window. Not a good idea tho, whether you rent or own.

Read around on this forum... lots to learn and various ways to make treatment more successful.

As opposed to smashing it in millions of pieces, PM me on how I can get it and get it in the hands of someone who wants one but can't afford it.

Have you come up with any better answers than to give up? Maybe a new mask or a mask liner?
Did you just need to vent before you stick it in the closet, really break, it, or sell it.
You were so excited to get your machine, but not committed to make it work for you.
