Nasal pillow issue

Post by Jmm59 » Wed Dec 21, 2011 4:32 pm

I am currently trying out a nasal pillow but I am having difficulty when I try to breath out as I feel too much pressure against my nasal passage so I feel like I have to really push the air out instead of breathing regularly. Any suggestions?

Without knowing what equipment you use, it's a little more difficult, but do you have an EPR setting you can change? This is the Exhale Pressure Relief option on many machines.

In the beginning it seemed I had trouble exhaling, but now I don't even notice it - I also use nasal pillows.

Cheers,
xena
