I have to agree with you. I have terrible sinus and cold right now and I am still able to use my Swift LT for here with no issues. I am using Purr sleep Peace to help keep the nose clear.
Diagnosed 08/31/10. Titration 9/02/10. Started CPAP 11/01/10. Auto mode 10-15cm. Alternate mask GoLife for her. Back up mask Full-life full face w/Pad-a-cheek mask liner. Comtec CMS F50 wrist pulse oximeter. Sobakawa Cloud Pillow, Sleepyhead software

I am currently wearing a Mirage Quattro, which is huge. I originally chose a full mask because I thought I couldn't keep my mouth shut, turns out I can. I am going back to my provider today to get fit for something different, smaller. Maybe I can try out pillows...

Thanks for the tip and I hope you find a way to lower your numbers.

If your "centrals" continue to drop you may not need a different machine.
It is good to watch them and then discuss with your doctor those concerns.

My first mask was the Swift LT and I used it until the Swift FX was released. Both are quite comfortable and for me, either works well. I just happen to like the nice soft silicone side straps on the Swift FX better.
It is all about my comfort.

There are pros and cons to all masks. We just have to pick one that has more pros than cons and it is a highly personal choice. I will take minor leaks any day over a tore up nose, pain, sores and general misery.
