the more I think about it, the more I keep coming back to...

a GAGGLE of hoseheads.

just seems right. would make a nice verb too:

hoseheads GAGGLING

noun: gag·gle ('ga-g&l), an aggregation of hoseheads.
verb: to gag·gle, {modern} to communicate semi-anonymously about disgusting medical details the sort of which one would not generally DARE to communicate otherwise, as in a forum or a blog.
gerund: -gag·gl·ing, <hoseheads gaggling>, or <a gaggle of hoseheads gaggling>. past: -gag·gled. adjective; -gag·gl·ous
Etymology: Middle English gagyll, from gagelen, to adorn one's face with odd or frightening masks, (especially of elephantine visage), while making strange gurgling noises, primarily for scaring small children and striking fear in enemies or would-be predators.
He who dies with the most masks wins.
