ResMed VPAP Auto 25 squealing?

I have a ResMed VPAP Auto 25 that I have had a little over two years now, which replaced an older ResMed unit that lasted me from 2005 (when I was first diagnosed) to 2009 when it died.

In the last couple of nights I have noticed that the motor is squealing a fair bit, enough that getting back to sleep has been bothersome. I really don't remember the machine being noisy like this when I first got it.

Before anyone asks: no, it's not the mask. I'm a sleep-apnea vet, I know the difference between mask noise and motor noise. This is definitely motor noise. Mask and tubing and humidifier tank come off of it every morning and don't go back in until I'm getting ready for bed at night.

I'm wondering if fellow VPAP Auto 25 owners have any advice here, or what their experience has been with how long the machine has lasted? My levels are 18.0 / 14.0, so relatively high, but actually down some from what they were when I started on BiPAP.

Any advice or suggestions or experiences would be most helpful. I have enough stress going on in my life right now...I don't need worrying about this added to the list.

I recently bought a used S7 VPAP III with only 10 hours on it. It has a definite whine to the motor. I wouldn't call it a squeal, but is definitely louder then any of my half-dozen Respironics machines.
